You may have noticed our love for Scandinavian appanrtments..who doesn’t love them really?
Is it the clean white spaces? The mix of textures? The perfectly matched small details? Well..all of the above and even more! In this article we will present you a small one room appartment designed in a smart way so that no one can really understands how really small it actually is. Located on the third floor of a beautiful central building in Gothenburg, this delightful apartment was carefully planned for a maximized living experience. Our attention was captivated by the bright color scheme and the open plan of this extremely functional small home. Details like the white oiled oak parquet flooring, mirror doors, cast iron elements and ledges of rock- all lead to the creation of a captivating, cozy and exceptional design scheme.
It is remarkable how the bedroom area offers plenty of privacy while there is only one room in this appartment. The original appartment didn’t look like this though, it went a total renovation in 2008, when both the kitchen and bathroom were replaced, the walls were removed to create a better wider space and a lovely brick kitchen island was built, adding warmth and coziness. The living room comes with large windows and views of the quiet Alvhem street and a glimpse of Rose Street. The walls are painted in a gray-white shade that provides a neutral base for further decoration. In one corner, behind a beautiful profiled door, there is a dressing room with ample storage space.
